from Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. I was on the Third Workshop of
Habonim, 1953-1954. I am married to Nate Dodell, from Bronx Habonim. I remember, with great pleasure and nostalgia, the time we all spent together on the Kibbutz and travelling through Israel, and often wonder where everyone is now, and what they are doing. There were thirty of us on the Third Workshop in Kfar Blum; another thirty were in Kibbutz Geva. Our madrich was Pinchas Rimon, Laurie's dad. The workshops were a year-long work/study program for members of Habonim (now Habonim-Dror). We worked mornings and had Hebrew classes and classes in Jewish history in the afternoons and hikes every Shabat. That was the program when I was there in 1953-54, on the Third Workshop....
