Krist Anthony Novoselic

Parrents were Croatian immigrants. Moved to Aberdeen when Krist was fourteen.
On "Bleach" Novoselic first name was spelled 'Chris'. At the end of January 1993 he went on a trip to Zagreb in Bosnia Herzegovina. Shortly after the visit Novoselic changed his first name back to its original spelling: 'Krist'.
After Kurt's death Krist formed the band Sweet 75.

Aaron Burckhard
1985-87 and 1988

Appeared at the April '87 KAOS Radio show.
Was thrown out of the band, but made a short comeback when he replaced Foster in '88 (after Foster got jailed). Ironically he got behind bars himself, as he insulted an officer.
After splitting with Nirvana he joined the band Attica.


Dale Crover
1987/1988 and 1990

Helped record their first studio demo on 01/23/88 at Reciprocal Studios. In early '88 he moved to San Francisco with the Melvins, but before he left he recommended Dave Foster as his replacement.
After Channing's retirement Dale reappeared during a West Coast tour with Sonic Youth in mid-August '90.


Dave Foster

Originally played bass in a Melvin's satellite band with Dale Crover.
Foster appeared as drummer for Nirvana during a short period of time in '88, until he got thrown in jail for beating up the mayor of Cosmopolis' son (he had been dating Fosters girlfriend).
Foster was the only member of Nirvana who didn't came from a broken home.
After Nirvana he played in the band Papawheelie.

Appears on "Bleach". Kurt and Krist was unhappy with his style so he was fired (Channing says he quit) after the spring '90 US tour.
He later joined/formed the band The Methodists.


Jason Everman
1989

Appeared on a few gigs shortly after the release of "Bleach".
Although he was credited as guitarist on the debut album, he didn't appear on a single track. He did, however, raise the entire funding for the record - a total of only $606.17.
The only studio session with Everman was when Do you love me? was recorded at Evergreen State College.
After Nirvana he joined Soundgarden as bassist for a short time, and then played in New Jersy band Mindfunk. Later he joined the US Navy.


Danny Peters

Dan Peters joined the band in the summer of 1990. He appears on the Sliver track recorded on 06/11/90, but only played one gig with Nirvana, on 09/22/90 at the Motor Sports International and Garage, Seattle. After he left Nirvana he joined Screaming Trees and later Mudhoney.

Grew up in Springfield, Virginia, and started playing guitar when he was around 10.
Before Nirvana he played in the band Scream.
After Kurt's death he formed the band Foo Fighters.

Lori Goldston

Appeared on the 07/23/93 New York show and MTV unplugged. She also toured with Nirvana in the US after Unplugged.
Before joining the band she played in the band Seattle's Black Cat Orcestra. She returned to the band in the beginning of '94.
